The seventh-floor rooftop bar at Michelin-starred Angler in the South Place Hotel is ready to celebrate the festive season in style. Inside, the space has been bedecked with twinkling lights, a snowy white Christmas tree and cosy faux fur blankets. Drinks are kept supremely classy and are all of the Moët & Chandon variety. Opt for a glass or bottle of Brut Impérial NV, Rosé Impérial or 2009 Vintage, or perhaps a Moët-mixed cocktail. Then move on to festive nibbles such as pigs-in-blanket croquettes with cranberry ketchup, and baked Baron Bigod with sourdough bread with dunking. Of course, the space is fully heated, and can be fully enclosed for those really biting winter nights.”
