What we’re drinking: Cambridge Dry Gin served with Fever Tree Indian Tonic and fresh mint, £12. Running until the end of August, the Cambridge Distillery have taken over the sun-drenched Michelin-starred rooftop terrace at Angler, with a blooming great floral display. The quintessentially British terrace is serving gin cocktails to stressed out city folk, inspired by walks through the meadows surrounding Cambridge. To complement the drinks, a bespoke menu has been created by Angler’s Executive Chef, Gary Foulkes of ‘nostalgic English bar snacks’ – think cuttlefish fritters with chip shop curry sauce and crispy pork brawn with Gentleman’s relish.”
